What is an Asbestos Hazardous Material Survey?

Council development conditions frequently require the submission of a Hazardous Material Survey for home renovations or demolitions

Recent changes to NSW legislation have now made it a Requirement of Consent to submit a hazardous materials survey prior to commencing any development work on site.

Asbos Hazardous Material Inspections are qualified to undertake Hazardous Materials surveys and Asbestos Clearance Certificates in accordance with Development Conditions.

Our role in the identification, assessment and management of hazardous materials includes an inspection of the site, and a detailed Hazardous Materials Survey Report. The survey includes onsite testing, sample analysis by NATA accredited laboratory if required, and the submission of a hazardous materials register. The report identifies types, natures and quantities of hazardous substances on site, assesses the health/environmental risks and establishes safe management and disposal plans.
